Zack Snyder, The Netflix Spent Million Adds Tig Notaro To The Dead Forces |
Zack and Deborah Snyder claim it cost millions of dollars to seduce Chris D’Elia of the Army of the Dead and add Tig Notaro to the meeting.
In an interview with Vanity Fair published on Friday, male and female filmmakers said it was easy to choose to remove the disgraced D'Elia from their zombie heist film and start over with Notaro.
It was expensive, of course, says producer Deborah Snyder. Director Zack Snyder has set the figure at a few million. Added Deborah Snyder, I would say, Netflix did well.
Last summer, D'Elia was accused by many women of sexually abusing underage girls. In February, the comedian posted a video on his YouTube page, claiming I had a problem, but ended up not doing anything illegal. D’Elia has been abandoned by the CAA amid scandals.
Notaro, who plays the helicopter pilot Marianne Peters in the film, said in April she was surprised by the response of the first trailer, which led to her inclination as a Sexy AF.
A guest on The Tonight Show, the comedian said at the time, A lot has changed, Jimmy. It’s been really nuts here since I tended to be sexy AF. My friends were sending me Twitter messages, such as You are trending for being badass and sexy AF. And I was like, What is that? (AF is an acronym for fuck.)
