The Juventude AG team participates for the first time in the National Futsal League (LNF), the main competition in the Brazilian calendar of the sport. The team is supported by the State Government, through the Sport and Leisure Foundation of Mato Grosso do Sul (Fundesporte).

The Douradense team will debut this Sunday (23), at 10 am (MS time), against Joinville Esporte Clube (JEC Futsal), at Ginásio do Sesc, in Joinville (SC).

The match, valid for the third round of the first phase, in group B, in group B, will be broadcast on an open network by TV Brasil.

Unlike the team from Mato Grosso do Sul, the only one that has not yet entered the court in the League, the opponent from Santa Catarina has already had three commitments and is in the third position of the bracket, with six points.

First, it won the Sports Association of Venâncio Aires (Assoeva / RS) by 4 to 2 and then lost to the Carlos Barbosa de Futsal Association (ACBF / RS) by 5 to 2. JEC still beat the Associação Amigos do Marreco Futsal (PR) by the score of 7 to 1.

In addition to the aforementioned teams, group B includes Cascavel Futsal Clube (PR), the Futsal Association of Parents and Friends of Blumenau (Blumenau Futsal / SC) and the Clube Esportivo e Recreativo Atlântico (RS).

After the first duel in Santa Catarina, Juventude heads to Francisco Beltrão (PR) to face Marreco Futsal on Tuesday (25). The ball will roll in the Complexo Desportivo Arrudão, at 17 hours (from MS). Next Saturday (29th), at 6 pm (from MS), the South-Mato Grosso group plays its first game as principal, in the Sports Gymnasium of the Centro Universitário da Grande Dourados (Unigran), in Dourados, against the Atlantic.

Juventude has a competitive squad, under the technical command of the experienced Lucas Chioro, and this became clear after the beautiful campaign in the Brazil Cup last year, reaching the semifinals. It is a team with a well-structured project, committed to representing Mato Grosso do Sul well abroad and has everything to work out, stresses the CEO of Fundesporte, Marcelo Ferreira Miranda.

Group B is currently led by Carlos Barbosa, who has seven points. In the sequence, Joinville (2nd) with six, Assoeva (3rd) with four, in addition to Cascavel (4th) and Blumenau (5th), who have three points each. Atlântico and Marreco are zeroed and Juventude hasn't played yet.

The male LNF 2021 has the participation of 23 clubs, divided into three groups in the first phase, two with eight members and one with seven. The duels in this qualifying round are roundtrip within the bracket itself, with the first five of each group ranking in the round of 16 and the best sixth placed among the braces.
